The Waterskier Article

As most of you know by now, Ive been the club president of Metroplex Ski Club in Ft. Worth, TX for the last two seasons. Back in February of 2012, I had an ide to give new life to the Ski League nights we used to have when I 1st joined the club. Later as the season wrapped up, in early August, I contacted The Waterskier and Waterski Magazine to see who would be interested in an article I was working on. I expected to receive no interest to be honest and my article would remain in-house for the club only. I received emails back from Todd Ristorelli and Scott Atkinson expressing interest. The Waterskier prevailed and we went to work on perfecting the article, selecting images and getting the story line and points across.

The rest is history I got my article published this month!!!

This made my entire year as club President worth it all by itself.

I uploaded a PDF copy to the website if any of you guys wanna see and read it.

I know, I wanted WSM to pick it up too, but I didn't want it in both at the same time either

You don't have to wait for the magazine to make it to your house, you can click on the link I posted and read it!

Kyle, Phntmski and I got our names and pics in there!

Very cool. I need to get into something like this next year. I don't have enough friends that really enjoy the sport enough to want to go out on weeknights.

I've looked at a few jobs down there, actually. More in the Austin area, but Texas never the less. I'd have to teach both of you a thing or two about chugging beers in return for ski lessons though, haha.

I've put on a solid 50 pounds since I began college. That didn't happen by making protein shakes and hitting the gym every day...

I tried to warn the last guy that said he'd beat kyle during a deep sea fishing trip... he also did not listen, and we ended up taking pics of him getting sick on the boat... Poor guy didnt even get to fish.

LMFAO

Oh Mark please inform this CAT that many folks have tried to show me how to drink but none have succeeded.

Example: the tool bag that tried on our deep sea fishing trip......

So Mikey

KC beer I see is 3% and TX beer is 5%. So first off keep that in mind.

Second off I drink a 12oz 5%+ beer in like 2.4 seconds not wasting a drop and can do it all night.

Third off just this last Friday I killed a 750ml of Makers Mark Whiskey and a 24 pack of Miller Lite by my self over the course of Friday night starting 9pm to Sunday morning 3am on a hunting trip. Yes whiskey, beer, and guns is how I roll.

And finally I do have some good ole boy friends that bring me some back woods TN moonshine. 100+proof and yes I can chug that too.

I'm just giving you fair warning because the last guy found himself in a very miserable state.

TRR will also warn you that I'm not filling you full of BS.
