Windshield question for S&S gurus
I have seen a few late 70s S&S boats with a circular hole or holes in the windshield, most boats do not have the holes. Why are the holes in the windshields? Was this a standard option?

Hope this link works. I have saw several boats with one or two holes like this. This particular boat is not the one I am looking at but has the same hole in the same place. Saw a restored boat on YouTube with two holes. Does not appear cracked perfect round hole.
