That is exactly what I want to do, where did you buy the new tower? I'm waiting for a quote back from a Mastercraft dealer. He ball parked the price at $8000, does that sound right?

My 06' X30 has that tower as well and it's great. I had an 04' X30 with the old tower and it wasn't nearly as solid and forget about getting a bimini that fit really nicely. Ambitious project, best of luck!

Yeah, that kit is missing a lot of stuff. By the time you finish with all the fabrication, the board racks, speakers, and Bimini, you could have bought a really nice complete after market one.

looks amazing! I wonder if your old tower is the same as the 05 x30 tower that I am wanting?

Thanks! It's been a lot of work.
It should be the same tower, however I'm not sure if it will fit your 99. The beam on the 05/06 x45 and x30 is 4 inches wider.
It could probably be manipulated, but don't know what that would do to the Bimini fitment.

Kman - always been the understanding that the two point towers need a lot of fiberglass reinforcement where it's installed - how are you handling that?
