Managed to lock in our goofy wake on the 2008 Xstar... was impressive Speed 11.4mph, locker 700, factory front and starboard full and 3 bodies on engine deck...

Its not a 2013 XSTAR wake, but we are getting it better and better. I need to add more bow weight I believe. As you can see here we are getting it tall enough just not as long. I could make it shorter and taller but this was a pretty nice sweet spot. More weight in the bow will help. My buddy riding was his second time ever, made for some really funny photos. I was more concerned with the wake.

I actually have no idea how fast I was going. My speedometer never works. Always clogged at the static line and I never blow it out. BC in about 2 min it gets clogged again.
Also the river has an effect on the wake as well. One direction is one speed and the other is a different speed. I'm holding about 2050 RPM here where as the other direction i'm holding another 100 for the same wave. When I pick up the speed its definitely a bit longer. But shorter. Not unsurfable by anymeans but I have a ton more weight I could throw in it. We were only using 580 in rear locker and 2 guys in the corner and about 150 in the front. I'll keep working on it. Although we were pretty impressed with this wave.

How do you guys get away with people riding on the back for weight distribution? Isn't it illegal to ride there? Our park rangers at the lake are pretty strict about that.
