Yeah at $700ish thats nuts. I'll be using yours for a while. Unless you're ready to upgrade. I like the ones where the back foot isnt strapped in "animal bindings" they look awesome and more comfortable.

My wife and I have been drooling over Mastercrafts sence we were first married and have finally had the chance to buy one. (Just in time for winter here. LOL)
We found a 1998 225 VRS with under 300 Hours on it. It is in very good condition for the year but does need a few things as expected. I replaced the trailer brake actuator, fixed a leak, got the bildge pump working, replaced lift shocks and a few other things to make it new again. I also picked up a used prop 14"X18 for $190 which I am stoked about for getting so cheap. I am now in the process of redoing the stereo system as the original front speakers are old and hardly work. I am wanting to replace them with the Polk MM651's pictured below and am wondering if they will fit in the front??? Also I am contemplating on moving the bass speaker to the driver foot area. I just hesitate cutting a hole in the original kick pannel. |

They will fit up front. Why move your sub. Leave it where it is at. Imho. You could get a beeter sub and amp ifbu want to hear it better if thays why your thinking of moving it.

The other day I cut a hole in the foot board just infront of the driver area and build a subwoofer box which mounts just behind. It worked out great. Plus now the subwoofer is not boxed in and I have a huge storage area for my kids stuff. I am very happy with how it has turned out so far. I can post some pics when my new speakers come. |

Nice! I think your family is really going to enjoy it next year. And great that it already has a tower. Hopefully you have somewhere semi - dry to work (play??) with it in the off-season.
