mzimme - The Rock is lowest it's been in a decade, but still not as low as it was when I was a kid in the 80s. Should not impact your trip in the general vicinity your staying, but I wouldn't go any further up the King's River than Sweetwater Creek area (upstream of Kings River Marina). We like to use the slalom course at Sweetwater, but absolute minefield beyond there. We spent the last week in July at Hickory Hollow about 2 miles beyond Sweetwater and my XStar was only boat at resort that week that didn't tag a stump - THANK YOU LORD!
