Fuel Pump - For the experts

It seems our external fuel pump "may" become unavailable... Many places still have in stock - but what if, the pump became obsolete. I received the spec's from federal mogul... Even the folks at SKIDIM.COM say they hold their breath when they order the pump for stock to sell.

specifications available for the P60962 fuel pump, testing voltage 13.5, minimum flow is 43GPH@43SPI, maximum amp draw is 10.8amps@43PSI, dead head pressure is 120PSI.

What would a one have to do get implement a different pump?

Damn, I'll tell you what...some people are worried about storing seeds, water etc...for the end of the world. If there's an end of the world I want to go quick not deal with it, honestly. But I do prepare for parts going unavailable. I have an inventory of parts for my pontoons boat, fuel pumps, starters, lines and filters, etc..and I'm working on this for my MC too...just gathering up OEM skins now.

Good luck on the pump...there are too many smart people on here...you'll be in luck!!! But buy 2.
