No footstock for me. I did it for a couple of years in a row, but without some serious water time, I was throwing money away. There's some tough competition up there. It's fun, but a long drive with not a lot of certainty.

We probably would have but, everything's booked up and I'm not staying in no camp ground w/out a tent.

Yup....did masters and open last year. Just doing open this year. Was on the fence about it cuz it is an awful lot of sitting around but 6 of my 7 regular footing buddies are going......peer pressure
