X9 Specialized Rudder

I have had some porpoising issues (minor) with my 2001 X9, I can live with it but am always looking for improvement. A friends 209, also a 2001 and bought used, had a replaced rudder installed by the previous owner that includes a fin to resolve this issue (see photo). Anyone know where one might find this rudder?

Looks like the rudder from the PPTS (Positive Pressure Tracking System) that MC put on the '98 ProStar.

Ebay? From what I've heard it is not recommended as it robs some of your performance. We had a minor issue with porpoising. Read about it here: http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/...ad.php?t=49518

Easiest fix is to store your heavy items under the bow seats. Doesn't take much. And doesn't cost a thing.

My 2001 Prostar 209 also has the same rudder. I cannot confirm whether or not the performance has been affected since it was the rudder it came with when I bought the boat 5 years ago. I can confirm though that my boat does not porpoise.
