Season ending injury

Well, my ski season is probably over as i broke my ankle on Saturday. I have been skiing my best all season recently, and after i rounded 3 ball at 35 off, i got pulled forward and as i hit the wake went airborne and crashed hard, flipping several times. As my ski hit the water, it stopped and i kept flipping. I use approach bindings and I cinch down pretty tight as i don't want my feet coming out. Well, this time it came out and broke my ankle in the process and possibly some ligament damage. I will be seeing an orthopedic surgeon this week and will need a screw put in. Won't know the full extent until I have an MRI. Total bummer. I was planning on switching to Exo boots next year. I sure wish I would have done this sooner, it would have saved my ankle.
