Gel coat repair

After 40 hours got my first major ding in the gel coat, a screw sticking out from a dock bumper put a decent gouge in my gel coat (black) including a gouge about 1/8" deep. How do I repair this and make it right? Can a dealer do it?

There are kits for DIY. A good fiberglass shop should be able to do it also. Call your dealer and ask them if the can or refer you to someone who can.

Check Spectrum Color for a repair kit. They make a paste you can use for most minor repairs.
