Carpet replacement

Anyone know where I could look to find replacement carpet for a 99 Maristar that looks like this...?


I need to buy some to replace the carpet in the rear compartments. Previous owner let oil get on it and I can't get it clean no matter what I try.

And the backing looks like this...

Wow. I wanted to thank whoever it was on here who recommended Corinthian carpet to me (can't find post now). I ordered a sample and it is almost an exact match for that of my older Maristar. Going to order some from them this fall for sure. It looks like it is of good quality as well.

I thought anyone with similar carpet as mine might want to know.

Hoggie,
When you remove the old carpet, take it out in as much of one piece as reasonably possible. It will serve as a great template for cutting the new pieces. Saves a lot of headache when installing the new, where it will be pre-cut just perfectly. No guessing or refitting.

Tip two is Goo Gone (Citrus cleaner) will dissolve the glue that holds the carpet down in no time and is gentle enough that should not hurt anything else in the boat. If the carpet is stuck in a spot soak in Goo Gone and finish pulling up the next day.

That is where I got the idea but unlike a lot of the things I have seen on the internet. I actually tried it and it worked. (Heck my wife did not even slap me for acting on that idea from the internet unlike…)

So i had some extra carpet left over after doing the rear compartments and was thinking about redoing the main visible areas in the boat. Does anyone have a link for removing the floor around the gas tank? I want to see just how hard of a job this may be.

Sorry for the double post. I realized my other thread was in the engine/drive train category and didn't think I would get many responses on this there.

I removed the center seat section but you shouldn't have to. Remove the bolts that secure the top to the floor. You can see them in the picture just to the left and right of the removed floor. Remove the bolts in the front section of the center seat base. Lift the seat bases up on each side a place a wedge to keep them up just to the side of the floor piece to be removed. All of this is to allow you to pry the center floor section up from the front. Remove the two screws in the floor towards the front. Then just pry the front up and pull the floor section towards the front of the boat. It slides out from under the REAR center section. Mine was a real pain as it was a tight fit. Good luck!

You have any of these photos in a photobucket account? I'd like to zoom in a little so I can see the bolts you are talking about. I went by and glanced at the boat last night, but I don't remember seeing any visible bolts to even remove. When you say the bolts that secure the top section to the floor, are you talking about the ones with brackets under where the seat pads would be? Hopefully when I get in there tomorrow it will be a little more obvious.
