haven't heard of adding fins to a 230. if you are used to an i/o or ob, the 230 will still handle much better. you can add a larger rudder pretty easily to help with handling.

After several years of thinking about it, I finally removed the MariStar decals from the hull. I think the boat looks better. My six year old daughter thinks the boat looks faster...

Thanks alot...It's actually a Flexion. We bought the cabin because we had young kids. As they are getting older, we're thinking of upgrading to an open bow....That is until I priced a2012 X-55..... $120k base - $150k loaded.... Ouch!!!

P.S. We bought the sticker off of eBay. Thought it was too big when I pulled it out of the box, but now I wish it was a little bigger....

I really like the looks of your boat. I am going to try to talk my wife into the 240SC when we find a decent one (we have an 8 month old).

It is definitely perfect for little ones....and rides great. Only problem is now, with 4 kids (ages 14 down to 5) the cabin is basically a big storage compartment....And we'd like a little more room.
