Dog paw, thanks for the local information, hopefully in response to my PM to ya. If your boat is not in the water, PM me to let me know where you are and we can say hi. Are you on the private or public side of the lake? Where should we go from the marina we are putting in at? north or elsewhere. I have been to Lake Anna once and put in at the state park ramp and went north up into the creeks/coves. It was not too busy but it was a Friday versus a Saturday.

My Favorite spots were up Pamunky creek (ski alley) or Terry's run. That would be going north from Lake Anna marina, hang a right @ the splits, go by the state park, up past the No Wake Zone Restaurant. Alot of the wakeboard guys run in pigeon cove. Thats right past Rt208 marina "new bridge" Ski alley collects a few X boats also.

I plan on getting out Saturday for sure. Cranked the boat over last weekend, it fired up dust flew and one of the exhaust flappers fell off. Ready to roll

dog paw, we hope to see you and any other MC owners out there. I am looking forward to it. How is the water temp and is it clean or dirty this time of year? water temp is like bath water on the creeks on the chesapeake bay. went for an open water ski last night behind my neighbors 82 stars and stripes power slot after new long block installed. it ran like a champ.

Any one else at lake anna want to meet up?

Is there a mastercraft dealer at lake anna?

Bay Watersports had a Mastercraft dealer at Anna. I dont think they are still here. As lakes go Anna is a shallow lake. Gets murky with boat traffic. From the plant south it stays pretty clear. My Sea Doo claims the water's in the low 90's I shudder to think what the "warm side" (private side cooling pond) are. The Buzz http://www.lakeannabuzz.com/index.html has some local info in it.

My "insider" information tells me 95 degrees on the warm side, 100 at the discharge from the power plant.

Rainy here in NJ, but we are heading down to the lake this afternoon. I don't have a smart phone so you guys have to use my cell # to reach me.
Dogpaw, I sent you a PM with my cell #.

See you sat 9am at Lake Anna Marina!

waxed the boat today, 303 on seats, greased bearing buddies, check tire pressure...
ready to roll early in the morning to Lake Anna for the 1993 meetup.
I looked through some old posts and noted GregS and TEAL98 were on Lake Anna but I have not received a response from a PM I sent to them earlier in the week.
It rained off and on today and the day time high has dropped 20 degrees from a few days ago, from 100 to 80. Figures when we plan a get together the weather goes bad. But will still be a good day to meet fellow TTers and hang out on the water. Hope to get some skiing in during the morning and see other MCs out there.

This thread explains the group of Mastercrafts I saw in the flats taking photos. I was pulling the kids on the kneeboards by you guys a bunch of times in the 30th edition Prostar. Next time I need to pull over and say hello.

Sure was a dreary day out there.
