I Broke the 1000hr mark!

I broke 1000hrs on my 2001 MariStar 210VRS today. It was a personal moment, but it was a stellar day to do so. Below is a pic of the tach...

I know the photo says 895, but this is the second Tachometer. The original had 105hrs on it, so that's 1000 according to my calculator! And a solid 950hrs of this was in saltwater.

Talked to the wife a few weeks ago about the boat, we are starting see some aging specifically from the salt environment. So the we decided that keeping her is wise financially, and will be doing a big overhaul and maintenace this winter. Going to tear down the front-end and top-end of the motor for some much needed re-painting, removing all of the interior for some vinyl repairs and cleaning and going to hit every screw nut and bolt for tightening or repair. That should give us another 5 solid years of use with little issue.

Great to hear!
I just looked at mine and its at 1068. But I don't know if it still works tbh. Been hoping to get out this year but they are draining my lake something awful.
