What an impeller should and should not look like.

We were out in our '94 ProStar 190, things went great in the morning, but in the afternoon the temp gauge just took off and the engine temp light went on. We got the boat back to the dock and then opened up the cover and pulled the impeller (or what was left of it). See the picture here in comparing the old vs a new impeller - decided that we will replace this at least every other year to play it safe. Put the new one in and everything is back to normal!
