Any Oahu Hawaii MCer's?

I think this is a better place for posting (versus General Discussion) my desire to find a MC buddy/mentor/etc. in Oahu, Hawaii (or on any Island here...).

Maybe I'm the only one on TT who lives in Hawaii? Or, I might be the only one to enjoy using the sea/bay for watersports, and crazy enough to bring my girl halfway across the ocean (from Japan) to do so.

Standing by,

I lived there in the late 1990s. There is a ski club over by the airport off of reef runway. They have some ski boats (not sure of the brand) and a slalom course. If you run a search on this site for Hawaii, a thread or two should come up on it.

Second, there is a ski school (or used to be) on Kauai on the Wailua River. I had the pleasure of taking a few runs and it was quite enjoyable.

Good luck.

I used to live over there as well and worked with a guy who had a beautiful MB and was an HO rep. If you PM me, I'll fwd you his name, however I've long since lost his contact info.

Enjoy Paradise!

Great and look forward to hearing from you. I retired from the navy reserves after 30 years and now work at Pearl Harbor as a yardbird ;-)

Bring your boat (?) when you move here for retirement.

I skied (slalom) at MCAS K-Bay -- guess it was a club boat or MWR boat. In any case it was great. You'll find others for sure.
