Huntsville, Al

Temporarily transplanted from Denver, CO to Huntsville, AL. Got here May 1, 2012, leave here roughly December 2012. Looking to catch up with wakesurfers/wakeboarders out here. Any body?

Debating bringing my boat out from Colorado. Debate sealer (for not bringing it out) may be if I find some awesome folks in the area willing to drag a stranger out with them for some good times on the water.

I live in huntsville. What part of town are you living in? We hit the tennessee river pretty much every weekend.

@JRW - right now I'm living in the Marriott Courtyard near University and Research. Still looking for a room to rent (hopefully in Madison) while I'm out here.

I've never been on the river out here. How is it for wakesports? What's the water temp?

If you have room on your boat, give me a shout -- I'll probably be down. Unfortunately, I have no boards with me right now (all sitting at home in Denver). Maybe somebody willing to let me borrow?

Will send you a PM with phone number.

The river is ok. We can usually find smooth water throughout the week and before 11 and after 4 or 5 on the weekends. The water temp was up to 76 when we were out yesterday. I'll probably take the boat out friday afternoon. I'll try to remember to give you a call beforehand.

76 - wow! I'd be happy with 70 deg water in Denver right now! We're lucky to see 75 mid-summer...

Check with MC Dealer, Rambo

They had a demo day May 5 and I think they'll be doing another. They have 2 stores one near huntsville, and one south of birmingham. Good luck,

I think I've got a full boat this weekend. Too, I've just got an old Barefoot 190, Tristar Hull with a big block.

PM me your number and maybe we can get together this summer. I just bought a houseboat and should have it in the water in July. Then capacity won't be a problem
