I have not pulled off the backing and stuck this in pace yet. After I received it, I wanted to make sure it would fit. Looks like it will be a perfect fit. Just need to find the time to get my boat finished and back in the water!!!
I am also thinking of having a canvas shop add a piece of material to the back of my cover to extend over the swim platform. My boat is kept on a lift at the lake and I am hoping this will offer a little more protection. |

Wow, looks neat. Looking to do this eventually on my X25. Any idea if the platform is the same for both the X2 and X25 (Seadek does not have an X25 specific pattern)?

I am thinking about putting a matching pad on the bow step. My cap is grey and it gets hot and is a bit slippery.....
Just emailed Seadek to check on one.

Yeah, I'm really happy with it. Its easy on the feet and does not get hot like the hard black rubber did. Will be much better for the 105 degree Shasta heat.

Great Idea, TransomShield Protector
The sides could use it just below the bumper. For some reason I notice new marks when others use it when it comes back vs the transom. I wonder if it's the same product as rock guard on vehicles. Last edited by Philscbx; 05-26-2012 at 08:04 PM. |
