+1 New doesn't always mean improved. It will probably lead the way in future design but I agree it's a bit "over styled". I'll probably get used to it.

Didn't mean to start the Xstar bashing thread...

If the wake is as big as advertised it could look like a 88 bayliner and I wouldn't really care, except it doesn't, work of art IMO (agree some things are overdone, ie headrests on back seat, touchscreens, etc).

Anyway, I WANT SOME PHOTOS!!!!!

I drove 11 hours to see it in person so it is safe to say I like it, but I was told that the production version will have less pronounced head rests. I guess it is a lot like concept cars magnify design points almost as if to gauge the reaction then the Industrial (aka imaginary haha) engineers start changing it to make it more cheaper/easier to manufacture

Nothing like discontinuing the old model before they new model can be produced without major flaws.........It has to go down as one of the biggest fubars in boat production/hype. I was in a new one about 3 weeks ago in Orlando. We couldn't get the wake clean at all......So finicky. It had a wicked lip.

I personally think the 03-11 Star is one of the sexiest boats on the water. It's and absolute gem. The lines are simple, clean and smooth. It just can't do anything else except produce a monster wakeboard wake otherwise I would own one for sure.
