The Day1 XANI (5'2" swallow tail) can definitely ride a smaller wake. It is light, bouyant, and finds the sweet spot very easily. You can check out a short demo video of some line riding with our prototypes on a small wake at www.Day1Wake.com. While we have a few standard setups (shapes/sizes) including high-end Futures Fins to optimize performance, we are also happy to customize the board based on your wake, weight, and riding ability.
