Raw Water Filter/Trans Cooler Screen
I bought my boat with a raw water filter but removed it due to the way it was routed. Every time the motor box was closed it smashed it up against the fuel pump and hard fuel lines.
I keep hearing about a screen in the trans cooler that helps filter out any weeds but it doesn't look like mine has one? Here's a pictures looking inside it. Are these holes simply the screen everyone is referring to?

That is the screen that will get clogged with weeds. It is inside the trans cooler.

Perfect! I didn't want to run a filterless set up without knowing I had the screen in place. Thanks everyone!
