PS205 1994 trailer versus 1998
The current project is to replace my 1994 rusted trailer with a 1998 model, still made for a PS 205. The bunks are wider up front on the newer trailer and at at a higher level, also the winch post is higher and in a different position. So the question is: with the model change in 1996 will an older model boat fit properly on a newer trailer?

I think it will be fine. My father in law designed his boat lift based on the spacing of the 98 205 trailer bunks. My 93 205 fit on that lift with no problems. Don't know about the height difference.
