I'm definitely getting an education here.

Any suggestions for site/page that breaks down the best
boat for different types of use? Like wakeboarding, wakesurfing,
tubing, skiing, etc.?

Hopefully, it explains the why behind it.

you're on the right site for the info. lots of stuff available through the search engine. for <45K you could get into a early X45 or an 06+ X30. they won't be ski boats, but will give good surf and wakeboard wakes. the X2 is a bit more versatile and obviously smaller.

Listen to these peeps David! If you're gonna wakesurf, then by all means, stay away from the X-star. That boat is good for 2 things! picking up women and wakeBOARDING! Hull design is not conducive to wakesurfing at all. That X-2 that's for sale here is THE boat for you! I had an 07-X2 and it was PERFECT for everything you're wanting in a boat. Its got PLENTY of room, Storage, runs great in rough water, better fuel consumption, and will help pick up a babe every now & then!
BTW, you've got a typo in your ad on your boat. You forgot the word 'CAN' in the 2010 2100 line.
Looks like Action Water Sports has plenty of inventory of X-2's and X-14V's too. You considered trading?

Fixed my ad so it reads right.

I showed my 14yo your comment about the X-Star. He says it's perfect! Chicks and
wakeboarding! Can't get any better than that! Good thing he still needs me to drive.

Action Water Sports has some gorgeous boats. They are willing to take my boat in
a trade, but financing the spread on a new boat would be a tough one.

Hopefully, someone reading this forum has a gently used X-2, X-30, etc. and
the ability/interest in making a trade.

X2 is a great boat. Look at the X15 too. It does everything as good or better as the X2.
