multi use surfboard

We're looking to getting into surfing this summer and am trying to find a surfboard that has beginner qualities (i.e. easy to get up on) but also leaves some room for more advanced surfing. I don't want to buy a beginner board and 2 months later be looking for another board because I'm bored of it. Also, we frequently have new guests out on the boat who I'm sure are going to want to try it.

Lastly, I would like to try and find a board that fits in my 07 X2 board racks.

Any thoughts on the CWB Ride? Any experience with it fitting in an 07 X2 board rack?

Any suggestions, feedback, help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Hyperlite has a few different size boards and all of Hyperlites will fit in your clamping style racks
You'll need to keep in mind what weight thats surfing the board and the size of your wake
Heavier the person bigger the board, bigger the wake allows you to surf a smaller board

I just got a CWB ride for my wife to learn on, I learned on a CWB Razr and its a pretty good board also. The longer boards are more stable and surf well, but are slower/harder turning. You may need two boards in the end. One for beginners and a shorter one for the experienced.........they fit in the 07 racks also.

tr6coug may have feeback cuz they are well experienced surfers.
