Replacing steering helm/cable in 96 PS 190

I wanted to see if anyone has an experience replacing the helm and steerign cable in this boat? How difficult job was it? Seems pretty straightforward, are there any tricks? I imagine taking the old cable out is easy, but putting the new one in seems time consuming.
