Hi Baseman. Maybe I am crazy, but you have a question about the "button" on the throttle control. That is the kill switch that typically has a lanyard attached. If you can "see" the button, then perhaps it does not have the clip/lanyard attached, which it should to be able to operate the boat. THAT might explain why it doesn't run?

I'm sure that's what it is. However I felt behind button today and there is nothing attached to it. And the boat ran last week. I think the previous owner bypassed the switch.

My Tristar kill switch, was by-pass.
