Just finished putting my the seat back in after my drive-train tune-up. A little more clean up to do, but I'm planning on trying to get out on the lake after work today. It should be about 85 degrees and light wind by 5:00pm.

We upgraded from a '89 Supra Conbrio to '07 Mastercraft X-1.

We just got the boat in late February and have been out cruising around 2-3 times, but this weekend is feeling like the first time taking it out. It was always a bit cold the other times we've been out, should be able to do some boarding and skiing.

Besides the drive train work, I've been working on changing out the ballast tanks for fat sacs, replacing one of the ballast pumps, putting a sac in the ski locker (boat didn't have one), upgrading the stereo to CMD6, installing a transom remote and sanding/oiling the platform. Still not sure on the location I want to put the transom remote. I may start a thread to get some input.

Did I miss the post where you put up pics of the new boat?

Sorry, I didn't get any pics on yet. I picked up the boat the weekend before our big ice storm here in DFW, so getting some anti-freeze in it was a big priority at the time. Tomorrow morning I'm planning on washing everything and taking some pics. You wouldn't believe how much pollen we have around here right now.

Here's a pic from when I looked at the boat before buying it.

Trying to decide if I am going to detail the X-45 until after the pollen "dump." She is clean now; however, I like to do a spring thorough cleaning. Thoughts?

Removed the ballast manifold and hard tanks in preparation for a complete redo of the ballast system.

It's a JD Squared manual bender that I converted to hydro-bender.

Well...

Not as exciting as a new boat but....

I replaced the broken speedo glass in one of my speedos, and laid down a coat of primer on the fender I have been repairing....
