I've tried Ducky, Vinager/water combination & Babes. I like Babes when it's on the trailer. If I'm on a lake for a long time (> day) like lake powell, I'll have my kids wipe it down with Ducky while it's in the water - takes 5 mins. The last boat was black/red. The black was fun to keep clean.

I wipe the boat after every use and wax a few times a year.

Haven't tried Ducky, but I've tried Babes, Driven, Water/Vinegar, etc.

Babes smells the best, but Hot Sauce works the BEST. Better at removing water spots, leaves a better shine!!! There is currently a group buy on themalibucrew.com......

Babe's is great, use it every time the boat comes out of the water.

Just got my bucket of babes not to long ago. I havent had a chance to use it on the outside but the seat soap and seat saver seem to work great.

Water and a towel. Did it for 13 years on the old boat...no problems. Rarely waxed either. Keeping the boat inside helps alot.

Any ideas for a boat that is going to be on a lift for the summer?

I cleaned / waxed it at the end of last year and the boat has been in the garage all winter. Should I wax again this spring before I put it in the water?

So two questions I guess.

1. Should I wax the boat again this spring given that I did it last fall?

2. Is there any remedies to keeping the boat clean while being on a lift (w/ a canpoy)? I will practice the drying off after every use but not sure what products are safe on the lake. I want to be eco-friendly!
