And pertaining to the windshield because I am sure there will be some questions. The windshield is made by Taylor Made Systems. I contacted them and they wanted a model number for it. I called Mastercraft and was told that they don't have a Taylor Made number for it. I thought that they were giving me the runaround because they want to sell me the windshield for $1360. My contact at taylor made called Mastercraft with the hull number and in fact they did not have a Taylor Made number for it because of its age. Taylor Made said that I can work with their specialty department on a custom windshield but it would end up being more than what Mastercraft wants. So it looks like $1360 is where I stand on the windshield, the good thing is that there are two in stock.

Even though that is a lot, you better grab it A.S.A.P. Those two won't last long.

X2 you dont want to have a sick boat with no windshield because you waited, grab it now and if something comes around better you could always try to sell it.

I think that is a very high demand item the way Mr. M made it sound!

That doesn't sound too bad really. When my brother had his 99 SN it had a two piece windshield with a split down the middle. In 2006 half of it got shattered when our sisters boat broke anchor and collided. Just the glass cost him $800, and that was for only half....

This is what I plan on doing. I have owned this truck since I was 15, I'm 25 now. I had planned on building this combo for the SEMA show this year but was short on cash. So this will be getting done over the winter and spring. I am doing the boat first (so I can start using it!) then the trailer then the truck. The boat will be completely factory with the exception of the wheels on the trailer. The truck will be completely factory with exception of the suspension wheels and paint scheme.

and this was my wife's truck we built for SEMA last year...

Welcome. Good luck with your rebuild.

At least it was on McQueeney and not Dunlap. I'm sure you're seen the pictures of all the inboards going over the dam at Dunlap during those floods.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
