Better skiing wake behind 2002 x30?

New to the MC family. Just bought 2002 x-30 -- and love it! Obviously a great wakeboarding boat but am wondering if anyone has been sucessful in dialing in the wake for slalom skiing? The old foggies among us still like to ski! I've played a little with filling the middle ballast, but doesn't seem to do much. Called OJ's to look into a new prop but was told that the original prop size (which I have on) was the best for my boat. Any thoughts? Thanks.
