I agree 100% But I'm not sure what the sales numbers are for each.

I'll also add that I hated climbing over the sundeck on my 197. Much prefer to step over the transom and onto the rear seat. I just toss my ski to someone to throw in the tower ski rack.

Sure the X9 isn't the best ski boat but we're used to the wake and run through the course all of the time. Personally John I think it's easier to walk over the locker then get your ski out, even coming from a 94 190 when we never had the backseat in. The bare floor on the starboard side seems much more useful than just a seat (accessing board racks, working on the engine, laying down ropes...etc). Sorry if I'm old fashioned...

Yeah, I understand that -- but it seems to me there is a push for the X14v over the X14 from the factory -- so of course that will skew the numbers.
