1994 Maristar help/tranny/prop

I need some help, I am confused - I recently purchased a Maristar 225 VRS with the LT 1 Corvette engine - great boat but the original sales info that came with it said it has a powerslot transmission - indeed all I can find out says that the powerslot has a 1.25 inch shaft, uses a 14X18 prop which is what my boat has and the tranny should be a 1.5:1 RATIO(powerslot) but the transmission in the boat says it is a 1:1 transmission - everything I read says the 1:1 transmission should use a smaller diameter prop? Any experts that can set me straight? By the way, the boat pulls me up fine, plenty of holeshot even loaded and tops speed is about 47 or 48 MPH, No complaint just confussed about the tranny/prop combo.

Just guessing but, the v-drive unit may be a 1.5:1, I seem to remember reading somewhere that all the old VRS maristars are 1.5:1 which would make sense if the v-drive unit is 1.5:1.

I thought that too at first but what I read always refers to the 1.5:1 velvet drive. I think the v drive unit shows 1.46:1 or 1.26:1 ratio. The powerslot transmission is a velvet drive right?
