Nice Job. You confirmed my belief of using a urethane on top of gel coat.

Shadetree tip: I have had results equally as good with clear urethane from Minwax out of a can and if you roll it (yes, roll it) in thin enough coats with a soft sponge roller you will achieve the same effect without over spray and masking. It works for a quick fix and will enhance the metal flake as good as spraying it on. As you can see in my signature photo that is what my gel coat looked like before I did the clear.
