next question, there is a line running from the engine to the tail of the boat with a plug in it, is this an extention of the oil pan?

Just what is going on with this vent? Do I need all this?

The line under the steering arm comes from the engine and goes to the outside of the hull, what is it?

All speedo equipment looks to be original and likely leaky, What is this tube and does it need replaced with the lines, ect?

Holes from the swim platform. They tried to use white nylon washers to seal it off, 1/2 were lags that hit nothing, and 1/2 were bolts that were loose with too small of a washer on the inside.

That is the exaust hose for the blower. Looks to me like the blower is missing.
Do you need it? YES!

That is the stabilizer. I am guess it is ok, unless it got water in it and was was froze. Test it for leeks and replace all the other speedo lines.

I never seen an oil drain plumbed thru the hull, but if it is connected to the oil pan, I guess that is what it is.

It's an oil drain line... my '79 has one. Not sure what years / models they were available on and/or if it was factory, after market or dealer installed. Definitely a nice feature to have when changing the oil.
