Maristar 230 big block
Hello all, this is my first post,
I have a 2001 maristar 230 with the vortec 8100, 8.1 liter engine. I've never seen any others and it's not even listed as an option in the manual I have. A quick check of the boat trader doesn't list any with big blocks. Does anyone know how rare this option is or how valuable the boat is? I'm considering selling and buying an x-45 Any and all advice would be welcome, Thanks! |

Sounds like a VERY UNIQUE boat. Welcome to the board

I have an '02 X30 with the big block and love it. However, I don't think I have ever seen an '01 with the big block. There is a way to tell what engine came with the boat from the factory by decoding the Hull number. Post your hull number and I will try to find that posting.

You have an original L18 in the boat. That is the engine the boat came with from the factory. The "H" in the 4th slot designates the L-18 VRS engine.
