Barefoot ramp
Does anybody know where I can find a barefoot ramp, or plans on how to build one? I saw one for sale on barefoot central last year and didnt jump on it on fast enough.

Contact American Barefoot Club.
I built my first ski jump ramp with plans purchased from AWSA. Barefoot ramp is smaller, less complicated, and much less expensive. Shouldn't be a difficult project. You can get some idea here in the appendix section of their rulebook online: http://barefoot.org/abcfiles/ruleboo...09Rulebook.pdf Jump ramp/course info starts on p. 101. |

Wish I had more info or actual plans and bill of materials, but it's the best I could do with a quick search.
The ski jump ramp wasn't at all complicated. It was just big, heavy, and expensive. The barefoot ramp is a reasonable size, should be a straight forward project, and economical in comparison. ABC (barefoot.org) should be able to get you the info you need. Best of luck. |

Barefooting period: you guys are crazy
not only do I not know how to barefoot, but there are too many sticks and logs, etc in my lake to consider barefooting. I've ridden over a couple on a slalom ski before and even that was scary, can't imagine what that would do to a bare foot ![]()

I think, at one time, you could buy barefoot jumps through Mike Seipel. They probably weren't a big seller. I would suggest checking with a local ski club to see if they had an old one they would be willing to sell. Otherwise, check over at showskiers.com and see if you can source one through them.

I built one in the early 90's cost about a 1k I used aluminum frame, plywood coverd with fiberglass. worked really well. I got the dimensions from awsa and designed it myself.

Also, you can try contacting Paul McDonald here: http://barefoot-forum.com/barefootfo...for-sale#10474 He claims Ron Scarpa has ramps for sale.
