how do i get sponsered by a company

Although he set himself up, take it easy on him. I know everyone gets slammed on here from time to time, but no need running off a newbie who's just looking for some input from an otherwise helpful and welcoming group.

As for the sponsorship...maybe you should tone it down a little (don't put the cart in front of the horse). Maybe you should try something like this scenario. 1) Get a job 2) Buy you a boat (doesn't have to be a big, nice, or new boat) 3) Practice, practice, practice. If you have the talent you'll find your way to where you want to be. Just make sure you bring something to the table that no one else can...talent, professionalism, etc. Good luck and stick with it regardless of the slams.

So true my buddy has been offered a sponsership but turns them down for both wakeboarding and snowboarding. You gotta win tourneys, and he does just that WHEN he enters them. As far as I understand it, it is a FULL TIME job once they give you a boat.

Will have to agree...even though i understand about half of your post. Kid I know was throwing some huge stuff behind my boat (78 skier). 540's 720' 900's front flips, back flips, rallies, you name it the kid could throw it, and consistantly
