Question swim step compatability...

Hi there. I have a 2008 197 TT with a black fiberglass platform. I would prefer to have a teak platform and am wondering if anyone here knows if the shape/hole spacing differs at all between say a 2003 and a 2008. Obviously mine has the new fold-down brackets, but is the hole pattern unchanged through the years?

Also, if anyone reading this is in the Seattle area, I am looking to sell or trade the platform. Mine is in excellent condition.

Thanks!

It should fit, but the bracket holes in a used platform will probably be different than the new fold down brackets, but you can drill out the screw holes and epoxy in teak plugs, like these, http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs...44&ci_sku=5118 and drill new holes if they don't match up. If you want and get a new teak platform, try here, http://teakworldenterprises.samsbiz.com/ and you will have to drill new holes anyway, no plugs needed.
