This happen to me... But, I found my platform... You should check to ensur eyou have BOTH your locking pins attaching your platfor to your boat... I thought I was good with only only.... WRONG... As I made a turn in the boat, water got under the platform, and the force of the water ripped it off the boat... I used larger stainless steel wood screws and construction strength adhesive to sercure the bracket back to the platform... Has no issues after that....

Well i have ordered some marine-tex to patch up where the screws had ripped out. I was just wondering if I needed to use maybe 4 brackets to attach the new platform?

I too have an 06 x1 that the platform bracket is coming away from the transom. Can anyone help me to get to the back of the bolts? Took out the back panel to gain access to the ballast pump but could not figure out how to get passed the floor.

Try Action Watersports in Fenton MI. They typically have a bunch of new/used platforms for sale.
