Adding anti-freeze after draining engine water

I called my local dealer to discuss winterizing on my '01 X-star and, after they drain the water from the engine, they put the plugs back in and run anti-freeze. It looks like some people do this and some people don't. For the folks that do, how are people circulating anti-freeze through the engine?

I'm curious as to how people are rigging up their coolant sytems to add RV antifreeze? I've done the flush kit add on for a car. Same concept?
