2001 Prostar 190 Propeller
We damaged the stock propeller on my 2001 Prostar 190. I have been trying various options and have not found one that I like yet. It currently has an ACME 13X12.5 4-blade LH. The problem is that I am getting 42mph at 4,000RPM. It seems like I should be able to get more RPM out of the 310hp Predator motor. Here is the response back from ACME:
I would go with the Acme 913-13 L 10.5 three blade nibral 1" bore .060 cup. Second choice the Acme 543-13 L 11.5 three blade nibral 1" bore .080 cup. The Acme three blade will out perform the Acme four blade that you tried. Better hole shot & more rpm at the 6900 altitude. If you are always at he 6900' I would go with the 913 propeller. This boat has the rudder with the horizontal fins and have not had any luck with three blade props in the past but they have all been stainless. What are other people running for props with the 310hp and stock rudder with horizontal fins? Thank-you for your input, Eric |
