We got a thread didicated to our boats and garages, let's start one on our Tow Vehicles...
Seems like I saw a HummerŪ in here once around the garage thread. here's mine: 1993 K-2500 Suburban nothing fancy, HD 3/4 ton, 350, 4L80E, 4.11 positrac ![]() it could pull an elephant's teeth out through it's butt!!!! the reason it's not fancy??? = it's paid for ![]() got a later model K-1500 Suburban for the family rig. when we go to the lake, it's a toss up for which one pulls the 30' travel trailer

Is there a difference between the new H2s and a Suburban? I thought they were basically the same car underneath the shell? I've got an 01 Expedition that gets the job done. But those Suburbans can tow the snot out of pretty much anything.

The H2 is not nearly as long as a Suburban. Maybe more like a Yukon or Tahoe (non-XL).

It's apparently based on a Suburban 1500/2500 frame, but modified.

2001 Ford F-250 Superduty 4WD, Super Cab, Lariat, Diesel. White. Only tow vehicle I have ever owned where you literally cannot feel the boat behind it - even on steep grades. It's got torque to spare and 14 MPG cruising at 75.
