Yes, known issue. When I brought mine in this fall, they noticed the same thing. It is there now getting fixed under warranty.

whats the fix? replacing the section somehow, how is it relatively straightforward to patch?

cant tell from the pic if its split there or fully starting to collapse

I was told they have to pull the engine and redo the stringers. I don't have mine back yet so I haven't seen what they did.

Little update, I finally was able to get a hold of the dealer and should be dropping the boat off Sunday. He told me he's ever seen this on another master craft.

The issue is only with 2015 NXT20’s. There was a service bullet about the issue in fall of 2015. Your dealer should have called you to bring the boat in to be checked. It’s an easy fix and then it’s better than new.
