XT21 Surf Setup

Looking for advice from anyone that has dialed in their XT21. We just got ours and are looking to fine tune the surf wake. We have 400 lbs of lead bags and the stock plug n play bags in the rear lockers. Engine is the GDI 6000. We usually have 3 adults in the boat while pulling the rider. Thanks in advance for your input. (Any wakeboard setup besides stock settings would be welcome as well)

I have had great success with the factory "steep" setting and then bump up the speed to 11mph. Believe standard setting is 10.8mph

Thanks for the response, my riders have preferred the mellow bumped to 11.4. We will try your suggestion of steep bumped up as well.

I personally like the steep tab settings with increased speed as weight is added over factory. Especially with the XT21 having a lot of factory bow rise, it likes a little more speed as weight is added to the rear and the wave will lengthen and clean up nicely. A lot of it is rider preference on the shape of the wave, but I have always liked the steep shape better

I just bought 500 pounds from Leadwake's Black Friday sale. I can't wait till spring.

CSB - how much added weight are you running.

BnG - are you still using most of the extra weight under tower?

I usually run about 400 lbs of lead in a XT21. It likes the weight pretty much right under the tower. I add it behind the cooler and at the back of the port side storage compartment
