everyone does it different. i just added fat sacks to mine. once the hard tanks fill they fill the bags.

My family previously had an 03 X-30 and used 550's in addition to the stock ballast. Eventually it got to the point that the bags were putting stress on the engine access panels. We rigged up a reinforcement bar to keep it from bowing any further. It most likely happened due to the lack of space with the hard tank in place, but I would definitely test it to make sure it's not pushing those panels up against the block when filled.

750 Fly High bags don't get close to 950lbs expanded. They don't even get to 750lbs, more like 720.

This is a great thread to determine what bag you'll want based on weight.
