Looking good!

And as the other young guys were saying I hope I have the chance someday to be able to build a house on the water (most of it is developed up here in NE but maybe I will find the chance).

Love the layout though!

Plumbing fixtures came in today to the store. We picked out tile for the house, but are waiting to see if the installed price will be in our allotted budget. 24" x 24" tile cost a little more for install.

Our first "issue": the plans show a double 3' front door. However, when scaled, it is too big. So, the door we ordered is going back and a new one gets ordered today. So, it's off to the architect to get a $300 refund. Fortunately, they had not cut the door for the glass yet.

What are they figuring for framing to be done? I am assuming if they have a crew the house should be framed in under 2 weeks.

Frame in started Tues afternoon. They may put the trusses on Friday (tomorrow) or Monday. Dry in should be 3 weeks (framing, walls, roof, windows/doors).

Framing

Framing went pretty quick. Trusses were hoisted with a crane into place. Some places stick build, but in FL most everyone uses premade trusses. Front doors came today.

Starting to look like a house.

Yep didn't think it would take that long to frame. Looks great so far!
