Table Rock Lake Info

I'm taking a trip up to Table Rock Lake in August to meet my parents who will be there for a work meeting during the week and then we are going to stay through the weekend. Will be staying at the Chateau on the Lake, so I know there is a marina on site, but I've never been on the lake. Anything I should know about Table Rock in that area of the lake? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated! And if anyone will be there around Aug. 7-10, let me know!

You should know you're going to fall in love with it. Great lake right there. Check out some of the links with this google search, you'll learn a lot about the lake:

I'll be there from the 4th to the 9th, but on the other end of the lake.

We love staying at Chateau. The hotel/spa/pool is so nice you will have trouble getting anyone to want to go out on the lake! You will be situated near the dam and there are 2 main branches of the lake that you have easy access to. If you go South past the dam until you get past the hwy 86 bridge, you will find some quiet coves. The open area of the lake by the dam gets a litte rough. You can go West as far as you could want as well with lots of coves to ski in. Lots of good places to eat in town. The concierge desk will help you with that. Enjoy your trip!

I'll be down there labor day weekend. Long ways away, but I'll be there! Staying at the Timbers resort.

If you go south from Chateau, you can boat up to Big Cedar Lodge which has restaurants, etc.
If you go northwest, you can find Indian Point Marina which is near Silver Dollar City.
You can find a cove where you can see/hear people riding the coasters.

I will be there August 1-8 and possibly the 9th & 10th.
The "party cove" is across the channel from my house in Big Cow Creek (by point 6), but typically only happens on weekends.
The slalom course is in Little Cow Creek.
