Happy Friday guys! If any of you will be near by or using your boats this weekend, could you check to see if there's enough room to replace the 10" factory sub with a 12"? Thinking of doing this on a 2008 X2 in the standard location right behind the driver's seat. JL Audio will be releasing a 12" marine sub later this year which could be a nice upgrade for those of us who also use our boats as open air concert arenas....

It will be tight and depends on the final dimensions off the sub. There is an extra inch around the ring of my sub, so the diameter should make it. There isn't a lot of room between my sub and the cooler, but 08's had the cooler on the other side.

Spot on with regards to the cooler being on the other side on the '08. One inch to spare sounds like it may be cutting it really close...I suppose we'll have to wait until JL's 12" sub hits the market to get the exact specs for installation.
