Naw, I'm with drschemel. That's cool. Since the boat is already ugly, the tower really doesn't diminish it.

Now, putting a tower -- any tower -- on a beautiful Prostar... that's different!

I bet everyone laughed at Robert Oswell and his well supported (roped off, strapped down etc) extended, extended ski pylon the first time out too. I do like the "Fakesetter" name tag though...

My only commentary on this (infamous) boat, which is a huge thread over at wakeworld, is the fun per dollar quotient.

These guys probably have huge good times for the dollars invested.

Kind of a crappy old boat. Yes.
Not a $100,000 plus depreciating hole in the water? Absolutely.

Kudos to these dudes for making the best of what they have and getting out on the water on a hot summer day for water sports and good times.

(Personally I think they should reduce the sausage factor and add more females to the crew but maybe that's just me...)

Is it just me or does this look backwards? Maybe the mounting points required it to be mounted this way...

Here's a beaut that I spotted this weekend at my local watering hole....I couldn't resist, had to get out of the truck, crawl through some trees to get the pics...It may be up there in this competition for the fugliest tower.....just maybe
